Mushroom Pot and Island Creamery

Went to orchard point to have lunch at Mushroom Pot with 2 of my army friends, Soh and Zhihan. It is a buffet-steambot. Their speciality is of course the mushrooms. Different kind of mushrooms. At 1st i was told there were 5-6 people going but when i met up with soh before we go, he told me there is only 3 people. I was quite disappointed actually but since zhihan already on the way there, i don't want to spoil everyone's mood. We started our mushroom meal around 1pm. The buffet meal costs about $18.50. Drinks were at $1( not included in buffet and is not refillable ). They had the 八宝茶 which costs $4( refillable ) but we did not order it. Things that we ordered.

1) Combination of 5 types of mushrooms
2) 3 plates of Pork ( around 6 pieces per plate )
3) 1 plate of pork balls
4) 1 plate of chicken balls
5) 3 plates of Chicken ( around 6 pieces per plate )
6) 4 plates of 馒头 ( 4 per plate )
7) 1 plate of mushroom fried rice
8) 1 plate of noodles
9) 1 bowl of chicken minced meat with mushroom
10) 1 plate of fish minced meat with mushroom
11) 1 plate of prawns ( around 5 pieces per plate )
12) Some other vegetables which i don't know is what...

The total bill for per person was around $23.We ate for around 1 and 1/2 hours at there and decided to move on. We left at around 2.40pm. We 1st went to sim lim as soh wanted to get something there. After that we suggested to eat ice cream and soh recommended island creamery and so we followed him. It was at somewhere along the bukit timah street, opposite adam road. It is a bus stop before or after botanic garden depends on which direction you are moving.

I think the correct address is this: 10 Jalan Serene, Serene Centre #01-05, Singapore 258748. The ice creams are not bad and there is a picture counter for you to print your photo and hang on the walls. Soh and I ordered the hot fudge which is $6.50 and zhihan ordered the mudpie which is at $4.50. I took a few bites of zhihan's mudpie and i did not regret it.(Lolz) Mine is also not bad as well. I forgot to take the pictures of it and i forgot what are the ingredients but they really taste good. If i were to go there again, i will take pictures of it. If you are looking for a good place to cool down and chit chat, Island Creamery is a place you must not miss. The female employees are also not to be neglected, Lolz... This is the 1st thing that caught ZhiHan's attention. Lolz...

I am so full after all these stuffs that till now then the food are almost digested. My ATM card is not working today so Zhihan helped me to pay for the bills for mushroom pot but i have not return him the money yet !! lolz ... thanks ar ZhiHan !! Lolz ... We really had a nice time today but school will be starting on wednesday so have to cut down on these activities as i also have no job at the moment.
